In early 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic caused Graton Resort & Casino to shut down operations. The hotel project cost $175 million to complete. Amenities include a fitness center and spa, a pool, and a 20,000 square-foot event center. On Novemthe new 200 guest room hotel opened. Estimated permanent jobs is 2000 employees.
